A Little Question For You

Are you looking forward to tomorrow? If you are, why? No, I don’t expect an answer from you who read here but these are salient questions for our times. Tomorrow may never come is the root of this question. Actually, I ask myself that every night. It is shaky out there isn’t it? I won’t bore you with what it was like as a child in my youth but it was one hell of a lot better. And, better in almost every way even though we were tight as far as finances. We had enough and as a kid we knew that many had not enough and were made aware of that at the dinner table each night. Also, people cared about each other then. There was none of this “I’m right, you’re wrong,” B.S. Adults back then were all pretty much on the same page whether Dem or Repub. We got along because we were just ending World War Two and fully understood how beneficial it was to be an American. Hard times tend to knit a nation back together.

We are in a lull now. The kind of lull a sailing ship dreads because it can make no headway without wind. Doldrums is another wonderful phrase meaning the same thing. We now have a little better than three years left for President Trump. What happens after that? Which party will control our nation then?

It is not too soon to be considering this. In fact, this should be considered quite carefully seeing as how Biden was a turkey and his staff was dishonest even more than he was. No? Think again. The left wants what? To rip up our Constitution and they have spent decades miseducating an entire generation about how awful America is. America is a nation and nations are the way we have it. One type of nation, say, Russia, is not free but we are. China is not free either as theirs is a heavy handed government that truly disappears people. We disappear nobody in this country. Another leftist president will and this is a thing you can count on.

Am I being too strong or am I way off the mark? Nah, I am on the mark because I’ve been watching the left since before you were born. They almost had their hands around the throat of Americans. Almost, but we dodged a bullet didn’t we? My, aren’t I full of questions though. Yeah, I am but that will be all of them for now. Think on what I write here today, please. Your children will depend on how you vote next time as our political climate is now dire. I know, I came from good times.
