-What Do I Know-

Well, unlike many people that walk around feeling secure in themselves while plotting to rule the world, I know a few things. Now, what I know is not so much from book learning as dealing with people in peace and war. Once you’re involved in war, in any capacity, you end up having to do things you would not ordinarily consider, I don’t think I have to list the worst of these, do I?

I know that human beings are, in essence, walking corpses. Sure, we breathe, worry, were born of other humans, but all of us have an expiration date unknown to us until sickness takes us from the population in which we once were a statistic. I know this only to well. This, my dear friends, is an embarkation point from the rest of the race we call human. This is the point where learning what matters falls into place and is a separator placing a person on a ledge from which he or she cannot return.

It is this vantage point from which you can see reality as it exists, from which it has always existed. It isn’t a good thing or a bad thing, it is an objective thing. It just is and all doubts are fully erased with no smudges left from said erasure.

So, what I know is that loving one another is what God wishes us to do, to feel. Killing one another is an abomination. Loving one another is the way it was originally supposed to be. It is not only because of the sin way back in the formative beginnings of who we are. Science does not understand this or pleads ignorance of it by describing the origin story as balderdash. You cannot find the positive if you start with a negative. You cannot befriend the person who you feel is a threat or, just a plain fool. Were I to have stayed in the mindset of war I would have killed rather than listened. Mine is the mindset of peace, hard won after war.

I found this peace only through prayer and a close relationship with God which was my doing, not His. It was me who had to want this and search and pray for it. Once found I hang on tenaciously and that is, in part, what I am doing here on this website. Offering the most loving idea ever not conceived of my man but conceived of by God. It is freely offered but very few take it because most of the people walk in the absence of true knowledge. Hence, all the vitriol we recoil from.

Have I said too much for you to absorb? Think on it, as thought is the gift God gave each of us to find Him. Thought of God is what sets us apart from animals and not much else in today’s society.
